Note: In accordance with existing FDA food additive regulations, TBHQ, BHA, BHT and propyl gallate are lawful for use singly or with one exception, not to exceed 0.02% in combination based on the weight of fat or oil content of the food (including essential oil). One exception is that TBHQ and propyl gallate are not lawful for use in foods when combined.
